All too frequently a yacht crew will put off seeing a doctor when they really should do as they prioritise colleagues or the vessel over themselves. 

The Wayfarer Maritime service gives each member of your crew free and unfettered access to a trusted doctor. Our text, phone and video-based app (that each crewmember can have on their phone) means that consultations can be organised by the individual and conducted around other essential duties. Doctor consultations no longer have to be arranged for busy periods alongside, or organised by an Officer.

The scale of medicines holdings on board vessels is significant, and there is a large amount of expenditure on medicines with limited shelf-life entailing a high amount of wastage.  We can advise your vessel on how to keep these costs to a minimum, manage your inventory and can provide Medical Chest Certificates in accordance with Flag requirements.

You may well have paramedics or nurses in your crew who have their own Professional Development requirements. Wayfarer Maritime can provide these crew with much needed professional support and clinical top-cover.
